2017 Family Portraits

We recently did a portrait session with Glori Beaufort Photography. I just got our pictures back, and I am literally blown away with joy and excitement when looking at them. First of all, the weather was freezing cold and windy, so my kids were not thrilled with being outside for about 45 minutes and standing around smiling for pictures. That made me kinda concerned that their mood would make the photo session a dud. However the first thing Glori did was chat and laugh with the kids to make them smile. Then she started off doing individual "personality" shots. She lifted their mood from drab to cheery :) She was so excellent with them, I had so much fun just watching them get their picture taken. So long story short, I really really highly recommend her. She did a remarkable job capturing each of our individual family member's personalities!

Side note (and slight self brag...) hahahaha. I basically had a panic attack trying to put together and coordinate outfits. Besides Stevie's and my pants, I picked out & bought everyone's entire outfits from Goodwill for a total of $18. Boo-ya. I'm still pretty proud of myself. :D

Hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I do!

I love this one!!!

Stevie

I love Stevie's hair.

So serene.

Neela
Yup. That's my Nee-na.

Neela is really proud of that jump. hahaha

 Titus
I love how he makes up weird poses like his daddy. :)

Whatca know bout dat split?!

I really think Titus could be a model.

Olive

I LOVE that she captured Olive doing this little pose. I swear she does that all the time. I'm so happy to finally get it on camera.

"Daddy. I jumped higher than Neela."

My baby is so big and beautiful.

Then it was time for the fun ones :)

Our holding hands "Abbey Road" picture

Glori brought these little Christmas themed glitter poppers for the kids to use. They thought they were so much fun!

Then we just kind of danced around at the end

It was so nice how she was so fun and energetic. Another thing I really liked about how she takes pictures is she gives kind of general advice on posing and ideas, but then just kinds of lets things happen naturally and documents it with her camera. After it was all over the kids were asking when can they do another photo shoot. So yeah, I think it was an overall massive success. Thanks Glori!

Merry Christmas!
Seth
